Gharlane of Eddore not noticable?

It's that time again. Some editor on Wikipedia is on a tear again, this time against non-noticable Usenet personalities. The editor in question is of course clueless about Usenet, or they wouldn't have nominated Gharlane of Eddore.

Deletionists are probably the biggest hindrance to Wikipedia's growth today. There are many times I've thought of writing something in Wikipedia, only to think, "why bother, some deletionist scumbag will only zap it".

If WP is not reformed and the deletionists thrown out, perhaps there should be an anti-deletionist fork of the project.
